This school was hand built with in Bangladesh with the community support of local craftsmen, pupils, and teachers guided by a group of European architects and students. The aim was to improve existing building techniques while maintaining sustainability and strengthening regional identity. The walls of the ground floor are made of rammed earth, providing a strong support for the bamboo upper storey.
